St. Cloud Orthopedics Field is home to the Sartell Muskies, Sartell Stone Poneys, Sartell High School Sabres, VFW, American Legion, Gopher State and CMCBL teams. The field hosts over 100 games each baseball season.
The field opened in 1981 as Muskie Field when the land was donated by the City of Sartell. Through the financial support of several community citizens, DeZurik and Champion companies and through the labors of the ballplayers; organized and lead by Larry (RIP) Rassier, Urban Frank, Larry Traut, Dave Guggenberger Sr., Tom Gaughan, Jim Ohotto, Harold Perry and all families the field was created.
In 1995, lights were added to the field through a large donation provided by Champion Paper Mill. It was then that the field was renamed from Muskie Field to Champion Field.
In 2018, through a large donation provided by St. Cloud Orthopedics and other donations including a grant from the Minnesota Twins Community Fund the field was completely redone and renamed to St. Cloud Orthopedics Field.
